Come along for some great live music. You can choose to sing, dance, play a musical instrument, share jokes, poetry, act, anything you love! Whatever talent you have, we’d love you to perform. ALL ARE WELCOME to participate in this event. You will need to notify Joanne Miller (info@soulsymphony.co.uk) of what you are presenting – 1 item should be no longer than 3 minutes (no more than 2 items per person). If you are bringing a backing track, ensure it is on a device that plugs into an amplifier. Bring your friends and family to encourage you. No piano or amp is available, bring your own instruments early to set up.

Each year at 10.30am on Good Friday, Churches in Central Croydon participate in a dramatic presentation of the Passion of Christ as part of the Good Friday Walk of Witness. Three processions leave from the south, east and west Croydon, each heading towards the town centre, to demonstrated the meaning of Good Friday and to remind people of what Good Friday is really about. Soul Symphony Choir will walk alongside Jesus, from West Croydon, and at key intervals in the walk, sing to the crowd. Croydon Seventh-Day Adventist Gospel Choir will also sing at intervals in North End Croydon
So many of us need healing: spiritual, emotional, physical. This special Mass is an opportunity to experience that healing. All are welcome. And afterwards, as a bonus, there will be a cream tea in the hall. Transport can be provided if needed. Just let Fr Roy, Deacon Philip, Gill Tomei or Andrea Lightman know if you need a lift.

The Hub at Fairfield offers support to people with mental health problems and is an extension to Mind in Croydon’s Social Networking Service. Mind in Croydon is a mental health charity that has developed into a significant provider of mental health in Croydon and Purley. Mind in Croydon is working to promote good mental health and seeks to empower people to lead a full life as part of their local community.
